Cork Volunteer Awards
People of Cork had the opportunity to nominate a volunteer whom they believe is worthy of recognition for the work they do. Ini Usanga was recognized in part for supporting over 500 young people of migrant heritage in Ireland, encouraging them to stay in school and further their education.
Ini Usanga Winner of the 4th annual Cork Volunteer Awards took place at the Kingsley Hotel, Cork. Ini Usanga of Love and Care for People scooped the overall C103 Volunteer of the Year Award 2022 and the North Cork Volunteer Award 2022. This event was organised by Cork Volunteer Centre, Cork-Etb, C103, UCC, Cork Credit Union.
We spoke with Ini about her achievement She said “This was very much unexpected and she believes their were more worthy recipients”
