Youths Rule

YouthsRule is an intercultural youth centred led club composed of young people (including underserved youths, migrants, youths with fewer opportunities and youths from disadvantaged families) aged 10-21. This Club is an initiative of a non-for-profit organisation named Love and Care for People (LCP) and it was established in 2013. It is an inclusive and nurturing place where young people are supported to make responsible choices, take ownership of their lives, strengthen their capacity as decision makers on issues that affect them and are motivated to be the difference they want to see in their locality and the world.

The Youth in LCP-YouthsRules take ownership of the club by electing their own government for a tenure of 6 months period whowork with the other members and volunteers and staff to create activities.

The number of participants:
The group is composed of 22 young people (underserved youths, migrants, youths with fewer opportunities and youths from disadvantaged families) aged 13 and above living in Cork city and the Country. LCP-YouthsRule is coordinated by Dr. Ado Mazombe, Ms. Iniobong Usanga and four volunteers.
